I am about to install my All J rack, but the pictures in the directions do not match up to my jeep. I am assuming the plastic in the rear has been redesigned for 05-07. Does anyone have pictures of their rack installed on 05?

I saw one in person a year ago, and it looked like a chunk of plastic had to be cut out, not just a hole drilled.

Thanks!

I had the same issue when I installed it. I ended up mounting the brackets to the seat backs first and bolted the rack to those brackets. Then using a level and scissor jack I go the hole rack level front to back and side to side. I then mounted the back brackets and pilot drilled the hole locations. Then I was able to remove the rack, install the threaded inserts behind the interior and bolt everything in place. Worked out well and was not very difficult. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot!

Did you need a spacer between the plastic and the actual body where the nutzert is?

No sir, I did not use a spacer at all, I just had the nutzert installed far enough into the sheet metal so that it did not push out on the interior.
