Tonight while I was driving I discovered that my headlight will not stay engaged due to the multifunction switch not "clicking" into place and staying there. When I pull the stalk it won't stay. I looked at the parts diagram but the furthest Mopar breaks it down is to the multifunction switch. Is the switch not serviceable? I am thinking its just a clip or spring that is broken but does this mean I have to replace the whole unit to have a working headlight switch? |

I can only find this one on O'Reilly's site: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detai ... ord=s14393 That is listed for 2002-2005 models. I have a 2007. Does anyone know if this will work? My other option is NAPA but that's $30 more. Options are limited in Alaska, heh. |

I do not know about the 2007 model but you must be aware that there are two different types of multi-function switches...the one type is for a vehicle without front fog/driving lights and then a different switch for Jeeps with the fog/driving lights. |

It is indeed something that I saw, and strangely enough more than one site listed the one without fog lights as more expensive. Either way, I am without fog lights unfortunately. Thanks Billwill. |

I personaly believe that no harm would be caused by fitting the switch for fog lamps.(you pull out the end of the switch lever for fogs)....on a non-fog vehicle. Then it should be easy to add the missing relays and connect up fog lights to the wiring that is in place already....at least this applies to my 2002 Export model. |

I'm very interested in this since I plan on purchasing fog lights in the near future. |

No point in spending extra money. Here is a link to the kit. I'm not sure if that is the cheapest place to source the kit, that is just where I remember seeing the kit. http://www.justforjeeps.com/foglights.html Here is a PDF of the instal. http://site.justforjeeps.com/guide/82209413.pdf Good luck! |
