Hey guys. Wondering if the CRD brake system would be an upgrade to a gasser and if they would swap over? If this has been asked and answered before sorry I tried searching and could not find anything.

The gas KJ and CRD use the exact same brakes front and rear.

Stay away from cross drilled rotors,no benifit and costs more.Just a quality rotor and pads works best.Napa's Adaptive One pads and there premium rotors are a very good upgrade.

Yeah I have never been sold on cross drilled rotors. Plus I hear some of the cheaper ones can warp pretty easily which is opposite what I wanna do. Mine are warped now from two separate occasions, the latter the one that really did it in. One was avoiding a deer the other a teenage girl texting and driving through a stop sign. I would like something that will stand the heat a little better so when(not if) one of these things happen again they will resist it as best as possible.
