Hi; I have a 2005 Limited liberty with 122,000 miles on it. Tires have about 50,000 miles on them. Before winter I filled all four properly and fill the spare as well. The dash tire symbol is currently on and the over head display does not show a value for the RF tire. The tire is properly inflated, but It's been pretty cold (single digits) around here the last couple of days. I wasn't able to find any relative information when I "searched" the site. I'm sure there is, I just couldn't find it. Help Please. Ken |

Check all the tires pressure one more good time they should be at 33 psi +/- preferably + like mine sit at 35 constant. That way when the temperature does fluctuate I am still fine. If that doesn't solve it then it is your tps sensor. They aren't to costly but a pain to replace but any local tire shop can do it. |

You should be checking your tire pressures every week, even with tpms. When it get's cold the tire pressure drop and turns the lights on.Could have a small leak also, might have picked up a small nail or something. |

Your tires dont seem to be loosing air? Whenever you have new tires put on ask them to put new valvestems in. I dunno if this is your problem, but I work at a shop and we have had to replace some a few times and it has turned the light off before on these. Dunno what it does but seems to work sometimes lol. |

I will get the flashing dash light sometimes. I have checked the pressure in all of my tires and they are all still at 40psi. On top of that, my spare is not even mounted on the car and I'll get the "spare low pressure" message on the EVIC every once in a while while driving down the highway. |

how do you get this message to stop flashing on the information center? surely theres a way to fool the sensor to thinking its fine or disabling it altogether |

Place in back of Jeep. Sounds like more work than just putting the spare back on the jeep. |

I had one of these fail this winter, New England weather (all the salt) corrodes them and they only supposedly have a lifetime of 4-5 years anyways. They quoted me between 75-120 PER sensor not including labor to take the tire apart to install them. It wasn't required for inspection so I had them just take the broken one out, and now that light is on my dashboard. It doesn't always stay on (flashes for a few minutes, turns solid, sometimes shuts off completely), and when its on its a conversation piece for anyone in my jeep. I make a habit of checking the tires weekly if not daily. |
