How hard is it to change the oil pan gasket on a 2003 KJ? I pulled out the service manual and it looks pretty involved. |

Well you need to pull the engine or support the engine and drop the cradle.Might get away with raising it 6"-8" but wouldn't be very fun. |

Factory service manual and shopkey/snapon say it can be done with engine in the jeep however the motor mount bolts need to be undone and jack the motor up as high as possible to clear. Take your time and im sure things will go just fine. If youd rather its doable to pull the motor in about 8hrs if your handy. |
