Hi,

does anyone know what the part numbers is for the U Joint on the rear Propshaft for a 2002/3 KJ?
Mine is a CRD 2.5 but I would expect there would be no difference from a petrol.
Also does anyone know if there are greasable U Joint made for the KJ? if so where can I find them.

I am still trying to get rid of that vibartion I have under acceleration between 2000 rpm in 4th gear, I have changed all the rear A frame bushes, but it's still there a bit less, so I guess next have to be the U joints.

thank you,

Fil.

there are two different sizes, 3.622 and 3.219 outside lockup. No rhyme or reason why you would have one over the other.

I picked up a pair of the 3.622 figuring the larger one was for the diesel, but was wrong and had to make another trip to the parts store. They do make greasable u-joints in these sizes. readily available on this side of the pond.

Bugnout,

Would you know the correct part number required? I am interested in buying the greasable one, but here in the UK looks like i can't find them, do you have link to someone that would be able to supply them? Also how can I find out which is the one I need? 3.622 or 3.219

tks,
Fil.

I'll try to list some Manufacturers. Many of the parts stores relabel and use thier own part numbers

Bugnout,

Thank you for the information. Out sheert luck I found them here in the UK and they are greasable. Now I have to see if they fit and it finally rersoves the vibartion I have between 18/2200 rpm under accelaration in 4th gear. If not I will be back asking for more help.
