I traded the Liberty today. We got a 2011 7 passenger Dodge Journey. Since we adopted 2 children in February, we needed something with more room. This is one a nice vehicle. It is all wheel drive, but I don't plan on using it off road. I'll be saving up now to get another Jeep, most likely a Wrangler Unlimited.

Hey you got to do what you got to do. I've been debating on trading mine in for a car for better gas mileage then a older jeep with cash to mess around on.

Congrats on the adoption.

Let us know how you like the Dodge Journey. Looks like a really nice SUV.

I actually like the looks of the Journey. Would like to get my hands on one to see what can be done to lift them. Current research shows that a spacer lift may be possible gaining about 1.5-2". Would have to have on available to check if camber would be correctable at that height with the stock camber adjustment bolts.

We really like the Journey. It is really smooth on the road. And the auto-stick transmission is great. We compared several different 7 passenger vehicles and found that the Dodge had the best combination of style, options, interior space for people and cargo, price and fuel economy.
:BINGO:
