Post subject:  So how about planning an East meets West trip...

Hello everybody!
My name is Jen.
I'm Ryan's better half and decided that I would post this suggestion/invitation on LOST as well.

We are thinking about planning an East meets West trip next Spring or summer (2013) for all of us Jeep owners.
Somewhere in the middle of the Northern States ?
Where all of us Canadians and you Americans can get together and do some off roading, eat great food and check out everyone's Jeeps. The trails will be stocker friendly.
Ry and I figure we'd post this now to give everybody interested enough time to mark it down on their calendars to make this happen.
I'll start looking at places and areas of interest and keep everybody posted as time goes by.

It would be really cool to try and get as many Jeep Liberty owners as possible to attend for this trip.
Try and set a Guinness book of records for the most amount of Jeep Liberty's in attendance!

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas feel free to post areas of interest, activities you would like to do, contests, etc.!

I'll check in from time to time but I'm usually over on JK Country so I may not reply here.
Ry' will most likely take care of this forum.

By all

Jen

I'm interested. It would depend on exactly where and when, but I'll keep an eye on this.

That, or we could do something like Black Hills SD. That's relatively centrally located.

I like the Black Hills. Haven't been there in years.

Lots to see and do in the Black Hills, some good trails also but most are pretty wild and not well known.

If you want try and talk with guy's from here for trail info.........

Only ever wheeled on private land out there so the public trails I do not know.Do not try and plan a even anywhere close to August in that area, just not going to happen with the bike rally in Sturgis and the prices for everything doubles well before and after.

I'd be there if you do a event type thing in the Black Hills, haven't been in that area for about 5 years.

I'd be there in a heartbeat! Pretty easy drive for me (and wife and kid) from ND.

We're looking at the month of June. Possibly the first two weeks.
But we want to set up a poll to see when most folks on these Liberty
forums take their holidays so it works out for as many people as possible.

Were thinking of Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, Colorado Springs, Colorado , or somewhere in Minnesota.
Jen and I will definitely be going to Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, Colorado Springs, Colorado next June...

Either Mt. Rushmore or Colorado Springs would work for me. Minnesota might be a little too far.
