Does anyone know the screw head sizes of those torx screws holding the tupperware on renegades? Mine is going bye-bye, and I'm just too lazy to measure :) BTW - it's up for sale.

A 7/64 Allen wrench is what I use to get those little screws out. 9/64 works to loosen the brackets that attach to the side rails.

A torx bit can be substituted for a close fit allen head but I wouldn't do anything that had a specific torque requirement with it. That being said, T25 seems to be a popular bit for stuff.

One related question. What is the torx bit size for the front turn signals (2002)? I bought the clear ones on ebay, and THEN realized they used that darn screw head that I have no bits for. Thanks.

I can't remember the size right now. I'll check when I get home from work if nobody posts the answer before then.

How much and will it fit the 2005 Renny's?

Dunno if it will fit the 2005's.

Chances are that it's not worth it if you're not near Chicago. Shipping would be way too much

I can be in Chicago in 4 hours...I live right in PA on I-80...just a jaunt across I-80 Turnpike in OH...

If I drove my little 4-banger, I could probably make the trip with $35-40 in gas...I drove from Sharon, PA to Dayton, OH on 3/4 tank of gas, ~$15.

it's not all that great - they have much better and cheaper metal options now.

Besides, the renny tupperware doesn't even have a floor, so everything you put on it will just be resting on your roof!

oh i know; i hate that darn thing.

So what's the best, cheapest rack that dosen't have advertisement on it?

I hate having vendor stickers on my stuff.

I spent about $40 on my Yakima Basketcase. Still haven't figured out how to mount it right, but the price was right.
