Well my girl friend likes the look of the Light bars on the renagade, so I was wondering how labor intensive the install is? Has anyone done this or know of a site that walks thru the install?

Thanks

They cost alot and you have to drill a few holes. I would like to have one from the factory but I would never add one.

I did it....as you can see in my signature my kj used to be a sport but i transformed it into a renegade......I would say the hardest part was drilling holes on the roof; not in a sense that drillingn was hard but in a sense that it takes a lot of balls to do that....basically saying that if you mess up, you gonna have a leaky ugly looking kj. other than that it shouldnt take you more than 3 hours to finish up the wiring. You have to dis-assemble the dash which is realy easy to do. ( I can tear up the whole dash in 5 minutes and put it back together)....instructions are really great if included and best part look around ebay, you might be able to find the light bar for about 250....and also nothing tells your grlfriend you love her more than putting that light bar on for her kj.

I just had my Jeep dealer put my Renegade lightbar on my Sport, I didn't have the courage to drill into my roof.

How much did the dealership charge for that install? I have been thinking of getting one and having them install it..
