Jeep Compass is being released this summer. http://www.jeep.com/07compass/
New Compass drivers will be able to say, with the rest of us, "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand." And they'd be right!!! I suppose this is how the hardcore XJ drivers must have felt when they first heard of the KJ...Although, in this case, I really don't expect to see many locked and lifted Compasses crawling rock. Change is definitely in the works at DC. Do I like it? I don't care what else they do as long as they keep making at least one or two really Jeepy Jeeps.

Just saw on the news that over 200,000 DC vans + Durangos are getting new wiper motors! How do you screw that up?

The Compass is going to turn out like the Aero...A few years of production and not many sales. If Jeep marketed it as a rally car, they could have made tons more sales. Look at the WRX, rally car and its still around after years of production. I dont like the way DC is turning, but like it was stated above, each to his (or her) own. I want to see a Compass go wheeling...I really REALLY do!

In my mind if I were in the market for a Compass type car (thing) I wouldnt even consider Jeep. I bought a Jeep for what it is, a Jeep. If I want a car I would buy a Honda.
