Long story short, removed everything black on my Liberty a few days ago and had it Line-x'd. Today while reinstalling the roof rack I ended up ripping the nutsert out of the roof, along with deforming the hole in the roof when the bolt got stuck. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Pics to follow soon on the whole line-x job, still working on getting everything back on. |

Pics to follow soon on the whole line-x job, still working on getting everything back on. drill it out. if it's already out get a larger nutsert that will fit the hole and crimp properly.. make sure to silicone around the hole excessively before putting in new nutsert. if you cant find anything to fit... find a nut that the factory bolt will work in and weld it in the nutserts place. |
