Hi,

I just bought 2002 KJ with 2.4 petrol engine and have problem with abs and speedometer. ABS light is on and speedometer is not working properly. I just changed the abs speed sensor in rear diff and it works 20miles ok but then the light popped on. And when the light is on there is some pulsation in pedal.

What else can be wrong? I try to check connector and seemed to ok. ABS control module?

The model what I have is without disc brakes in rear axle. Is all KJs ABS control modules similar or should I look for some specific version? IE Disc brakes or without.

Before changing the senson we tested the car in diagnostic system and it said "rear right abs sensor". And when we drive the car with tester connected and look for sensor information and front sensor was stable but rear sensor speed was jumping all the time.

Anyother sensor to affect speedo than the one in rear diff?

Today checking the wiring neard rear diff. Try DIY connector with success. Also lookin the wiring chart for ABS and there seems to have three connectors between sensor and control module (C307, C201, C100). Any ideas where they are? Step 1: Found C307? connector under driver side rear seat and wiring from sensor to connector seems to be ok. Search continues.. Any good ideas will be great!

Step 2: Tested the wires from C307 connector to ABS contol unit and all seems to be ok. It´s getting difficult now... Any other options than broken control unit? Speedo shows 0km/h all the time.
