I'll start. Yesterday I got new lower ball joints and brakes. Tomorrow we're planning a drive out to Amish Country in Lancaster County for some much needed relaxation and cheese/jam/fudge shopping. http://www.kitchenkettle.com/index.asp Yes, the town's name is Intercourse, PA!

I've been to Intercourse PA!! Myself, finished putting all the Line-x'd parts back on. Looks so much better. Only problem is, the only bolts I could find for the Renegade flares were off of fleabay. One day on and already surface rust |

After getting home from my trip, I helped a friend change his spark plugs, air filter, and clean his throttle body. Working on his V6 Mazda Tribute (or substitute Ford Escape if you wish, because they're the same) makes me appreciate the engineering of our Jeeps!!! While nothing has been quite as nice as working on the 4.0 I-6 in my old XJ, I really do appreciate how relatively easy it is to get to most things in our 3.7. (with one possible exception: the oil filter). What should have been a 30 minute job took almost 2 & 1/2 hours. No wonder dealerships make lots of money! I did enjoy wrenching on the engine, though, even if it wasn't a Jeep. The misfiring problem he was having is now fixed. Score one for us! |
