Hey Ya'll

Does anybody have mud guards on their rig? I've noticed that the leading edge of my rear flares are begining to show damage. As much as I don't want to put them on, does anybody have a better idea?

I know, I should just suck it up and hit the trail.

They would just get ripped off on the trails, save your money.

They do not come off on the trail. The ones I have are fairly short and do good unless you are going over big logs or rocks. Ive posted this pic a hundred times. Flexed out. sway bars on.

Don't wear `em in Moab or in the Rockies. Won't survive. Perhaps in muddy locations they will survive.

Ok for one, I was responding to the topic of this thread, not to your post. Second, go ahead and correct my english, some people were not brought up all prim and proper man. I meant no harm in my statement, just pointing out past experience to help the guy who started this thread out, not to get into it with you over the computer, pretty silly when you think about it...

DeeeeeeEEEEEeeeeeep breath.

Ahhhhh, much better.

The Mopar ones will keep your panels from getting damaged and Jeepjeepster posted a nice pict of what they look like. It will limit some of your off-roading in the seriously nasty stuff.

Or you could get a square of rubber and trim out a custom set of the kind of mud flaps that they use on rally cars. I've seen some of those on Australian trucks, but I can't find any picts to link right now. Those are pretty cool.

Or you could coat the entire lower half of your truck with color-match truck-bed-liner. :-)
