my jeep libby 4x4 2007 just got towed and he pulled it with back tires in the air front on ground will that hurt anything?

All depends on if it was in park and where the transfer case lever was
He "should" of known what he was doing so ????

yeah i wasnt here wife was but she didnt pay attention all she knows is that he tied the stirring wheel otherwise she dont know if shifted anything

as long as 4X4, the parking brake and clutch are not engaged I don't think there would be a problem. Most cars are only able to be towed a certain distance with tires on the ground, but I am not sure why. I've seen as little as 50 miles.

I'm going to take this stance as well.
