I just want to know what is the standard size, if any, for the hi-lift for the libertys. I found a couple at the 4X4 store and i considerd get the 48'' hi-lift but i wasn't sure if it was going to be too big or too small for my jeep. when i do end up buying it it will most likely be attached to my safari rack. |

I don't own one myself, but I think most people on here use the 48". From what I've heard it's high enough to get a tire off the ground even with a lift. |

48" is what I use. I have Rusty's lift and 245/75/16 BFG MT's and I still have enough room to go higher when the KJ is lifted up. The 60" more for people who have 35-44" tires. |

When I got the roof rack for my Libby, I decided to go the 60" Hi-Lift. I figured if it was up out of the way, the size wouldn't matter. I also figured should I have to use it for any winching, the extra size would be an asset. While I was at it, I picked up all those little goodies out there (Lift-Mate, accessory kit, the big molded base, extra HD chain, etc) to increase it's versitility. |

The 48" will fit under the rear seat (with the foot off) or in the back. Unless you have a roof rack, go with the 48" so you can store it permanently in the Jeep. What good is jack sitting in the garage when you're stuck in a ditch? |

My 48" goes under the rear seat without taking off the base. Just wiggles on it there. |

KJ used to be able to fit the 48inch in the rear cargo area. Had to take the top eye off the jack. The top of the lift was on the drivers side. The plastic back there was molded to just fit the jack nice and snug like. |
