Does anyone know how the interior lights come on when you open the door on a 2002 jeep liberty?
I don't see any buttons on the door or the frame that push in or pop out when the door opens.
I want to install a light on my inside door to light up when the door opens.
Or does anyone know where the wires are that control the switch that turns the light on when you open the door?
Anyone? HELP!!! : JEEPIN:

There are switches operated by the lock assemblies inside the doors.

You can download the 2002 KJ Service Manuals here....courtesy of Sir Sam in the crd section.

About 41 Mb in total. This tells you everything you need to know about your KJ and includes circuit diagrams.
