I am wondering if it would be beneficial to run some electric fans instead of the fan off the motor. Ive seen these kind of products for wranglers but never seen em for sale for the KJ. Has anyone done this with a Kj. Would make more room for an engine swap. kinda a noob post.... |

Over on the CRD forum there has been some discussion of this from time to time but not much action that I know of other than viewtopic.php?f=98&t=62129 . More commonly folks junk the OEM fan clutch for a heavy duty Hayden fan clutch that kicks in sooner as the coolant temp goes up and replace the metal fan with the nylon gasser fan PN 52079654AE. Also some of us have modified the fan shroud to make access to the front of the engine easier (viewtopic.php?f=98&t=64278&p=709322#p709322) |
