I was in Vegas for eight days....fun, but when I got home, baseball season kicked off in full swing and I had to trade my Emergency 4X4 kit for baseball gear... I did not have time to go out even once before hand. We have games every weekend until mid June.....Don't get me wrong, I love doing baseball with my son, but I wanted to go out at least a couple more times before I had to retire Bullet for the summer. We don't have much mud here in the summer months. I can do some trails, but we don't have very many of those close by. Ok, I just had to rant a little.

last time i saw a post with this title, one of our local members had rolled on kj on the freeway and totaled it. maybe you can put a cardboard cutout of yourself in the stands for a game and still go out wheeling.

SORRY!!! Did not mean to cause panic. But truely it is a sad day for me. Unfortunately, there is only one way to the ball field...the freeway  There are a couple of puddles in the parking lot though  Still, Chris has taken his Dodge out three times while I was gone and then wheeled it again today on lunch. NO FAIR!! I am sure I will figure something out, but most of the places he has been going are way muddy and Bullet wouldn't even clear it with a lift. Anyway, there is always next year....I am hoping to make it to Moab. We shall see. But thanks for the concern guys!! I missed ya'all while I was gone.

Your jeep can go anywhere his truck can go and more places with a franken lift, tires and a locker. I do not think you understand what your jeep can do.

Yes the cardboard cutour will work. I was a paid extra in the movie Major League 2. That is how they filmed some of the crowd shots. Filled the stands with a bunch of cardboard cutouts with a few real people scattered around to provide "action".

I feel your pain. I love watching my son play baseball, but we still Make time for Wheelin' He only has to miss 2 games this year while we are in Moab (last year was 4 games). We try to not take the game too serious as he is only 12 and has many years of baseball ahead of him. If he keeps showing skill into high school we might have to rethink his missing games for wheeling and such. Then it might make sense to get really into it if he can possibly use it to get some college money.
Not saying you are one of them, but many parents get way too wrapped up in the game at an early age and hoping their kid will go on to a full college scholarship on baseball. I can't believe the parents that already think their kid is going to play pro ball. I think it is wishful thinking that their kid will be their future meal ticket so they keep pushing harder. I see many young kids that are so burned out that they don't even like playing any more. Sad. We are way more concerned with our sons grades than athletic performance and he does great academically. (Brag on, he just nailed a 4.0 gpa last quarter :D )
Anyhow.......Baseball will still be there when you get back.
Skip some games and come out to Moab!!! :D
