The info released seems to have left the Jeep owners club UK very split on what they think about the new Cherokee , (Mainly down to that bonnet / grill i think ) what do you guys think , based on what you have seen so far , ,,personally i think it is more of a mall cruiser than an off roader , guessing Jeep want to sell the Wrangler to the off road purchaser, .

By the way , if you are coming over to England this year , shove a 2013 wrangler 5 door in your hand luggage , someone will take your arm off for it ,, very few if any , 2013 wrangler Rubicon 2013 in the UK at all , not even the dealers have any.

It's a nice crossover and a very good replacement for the compass but it's not a cherokee by anyone's standard. I saw one yesterday on a lot but didn't have time to stop. At least it looked like one when I drove by. I guess it could've said grand cherokee but looked like one word.

It isnt due for release over here till later this year / early next ,, It will be marketed at a price between the Compass and the Grand , ,,,Not a replacement for the Compass so far as we know.

they missed their target audience.

99.9% of cherokee guys hate it, and those that don't, are cherokee guys, so they don't have that kind of money anyways.

It's too small to be useful for family stuff, too big to be justifiable for a single family, and independent all around? I don't care how it "performs" as it is, because it Limits what can be done.

Not A Fan.

I posted this in another thread, but the new Cherokee reminds me of the old AMC Eagle.
