Amorony, -
Thanks - that was the link I couldn't find. It was very helpful. I ended up having the dealership install it as I was a little leary and the KJ is still under warranty so if anything goes wrong it is under warranty. Just for reference the controller I purchased was a Tekonsha Primus model that I got at a camper dealer for $109 as I was going to install it myself. Ended up taking it to the Jeep Dealer (gulp) and the dealer charged $103. to install ( 1 1/2 hr labor) for a total of $212. So I guess that's not too bad.

The KJ had a factory tow package so all the wireing was in place to the point in the harness under the dash. They still had to cut the red power wire and run a line to the battery with a seperate circuit braker. - - - -- You would think DC would have put a simple plug-in connector in the wiring harness on a vehicle rated to tow 5000lbs as they must know you're going to need brakes???? Oh well -

Now I'm choppin at the bit to tow the boat up to the lake............

Thanks again
Al
