Next month there is going to be a mudrun here in our county. It's set up to do side by side mud drags. Just for fun, I was thinking about entering My KJ in the stock class. Anyone ever put the KJ in anything like this and had any luck? I doubt I win, but it'll sure be fun :seuss: I'll post some pictures afterwards.

If it was anything like the mud drags I used to run back home a KJ has no chance.

I ran a '84 CUCV Blazer with 475hp 355cu in SBC,D60's front and rear,NP205,4.88 gears, and 33x10.50x15 Boggers in the front and 33x14.50x15 Boggers in the rear. The pits ranged from 12" thru 36" deep for 100'.4low the whole way and bouncing off the 7500rpm rev limiter and that was in stock class.heck since a KJ is fuel injected it would be forced to run the pre stock class back home,no fuel injection allowed in stock class.

The stock class here is just a bunch of good ol boys in their old 4x4s. They bring in trucks off the street for it. Go on up in the classes and it gets to the rails. Like I said I highly doubt it's gonna win. But sure will be fun :seuss:

Yeah your mud races must be way different as we had classes with many rules.Heck my buddy ran in the Pro stock class and had at least $60,000+ in his engine alone.

Crap!!! Just hit me. This is the same weekend http://www.ksrockspark.com/2013/03/10th-anniversary/ I think I'm gonna opt to go wheeling with some people from here at Kansas Rocks instead. Everythings gotta be on the same weekend :furious: . No joke, here the stock class last year had a little Zukie in it. It was lifted on 33's and that lil four banger was screaming. He got stuck but he was the only one. All they do is wet down a part of this field for like 100'. Then its like a drag race to the end. The mud is only like 6" deep if that. Its more slick as snot. Kinda lame but funny to watch. Buncha rednecks drinking and racing.
