I just got 265/70s and was experiencing some rub. I cut about 3" more off my wheel liner thinking that was the problem because that's the only place I've had rub before...didn't fix it...well they're rubbing on the frame but ever so slightly. I'm worried 1.5" spacers will cause worse rubbing in other places. So I guess I have 2 questions. Will 1.5" spacers cause worse rubbing? and if so where can I find very small spacers? |

Spidertrax has 1.25" spacers. I've never heard anything good about thiner spacers. |

You don't want to use the thin spacers as they don't provide new studs and adding a thin one will only shorten your current ones. Best bet is going with a hubcentric spacer such as spidertrax and smallest they make them is 1.25". I currently have a set on mine and helped with rubbing. I am running 245/75/16 so not sure what it would do with your set up but that's my experience. |

I'll look into the 1.25" spacers. I would also consider going with new wheels with more backspacing if it's possible to only add about .5" of spacing. I have OEM 65th anniversary wheels. I have seen the thin spacers ran on a 700+whp cts with no problems, but then again they're not abusing the car offroad. I am not looking for a cheap shortcut, but I am looking for the way that make my wheels poke out the least amount possible while getting rid of the rub. It probably only needs 1/4" to remove the rub. |

Using the advice of someone who has had 5/16" spacers on their c6 z06 for 2 years I went to Autozone and gave them a try. They almost fixed the rub. I would have to hold full lock to make it rub but I want zero rub. I took them off and will be returning them. Would buying moabs fix the rub? I'm 21" at all corners. |

Moabs are the same back spacing as stock basically I ran 265-70s on mine though with no rubbing, now 265-75s no rubbing of course more lift so that may change things somewhat And please do not run those skinny spacers from the auto parts store, they don't fit right, they will break, and the list goes on and on |

I didn't like the idea of them from the get go. They're are off now. I need about .5" to get rid of the rub. The rub is mostly holding full lock but I'm not a fan of any rub. |

On a side note: although my duratracs were probably the best jeep tire I've ever used, these pirellis are significantly better on road. Hopefully they do well off road. |

There are hub wheel and lug centric spacers on ebay that include longer studs in many skiny widths... I can link if you don't have any luck! |
