I'm wanting to see if others have had trouble with the rear glass not latching after opening the gate only after just unlocking the back with the uplock button in the cab of the Jeep. When this happens just use your key fob like you were opening it by pressing on the button twice. it will release the latch so now the rear glass will close. I would like to fix this so that it unlocks when I open the back hatch again. Has anyone made this fix yet?

I ordered the part. It cost about $12 plus shipping. Now the glass will open with a half pull on the rear door latch. It was very corroded. When I cleaned it up I noticed that some to the cleaning fluid leaked on the outside of the door. Must not be a good seal at the door handle which explains the corrosion.
