The airflow is nice and strong when pulling air in from the outside. But when I set it to recycled air its weak. Any ideas? Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk 2 |

Open your glovebox. Pinch the two clips, drop it all the way down. Slide it to the right and remove. Reach in with vacuum wand/hose and suck the lint/dust off the metal filter inside, somewhat to the right (easier to see with a flashlight). Turn on Max AC and enjoy real airflow. |

Thanks! I took a peak and it is indeed plugged up pretty bad! I will clean it out and report the results. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk 2 |

I got some of it out and it did help. But whatever is packed in my screen is really packed in there good! Does that screen come out so I can wash it? Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk 2 |

Nope, unfortunately. You have to use a vacuum with really good suction and something, like a pick maybe, to help it along. |

I would not try to wash it out as water will go everywhere and what goes inside the HIVAC body will likely carry crud into the heater/AC core and tend to plug them up. Try a really heavy duty vac with like the crevice nozzle to maximize suction and maybe lightly brush the grid with a manual toothbrush to break up the fuzz that's caught in the screen. |

Had the same problem. This solution worked like a charm. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. |
