So i have a new-to-me 04 kj sport. I want to mount a fullsize cb but there seems to be precious little room in the cab. I was thinkin about verticaly onto the pasanger side of he center console.

The next issue is the antenna. Ive seen some mount it from the tail light but im not sure that would be a durable place. Or if it would make the wip too uni-directional.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks :)

This is the setup that I have in my jeep. Right now the radio is really old (chromed) and I will update later on. The antenna bracket I made myself, but some other users have had good luck using Dodge Ram antenna mounts in similar locations.

I've had all my CB parts sitting here for over a week waiting for me to get time to install it. I'm going for the rear gate spot just above the taillight, as shown in infernicus' link. :D
