03 Liberty I have trouble shifting my Liberty out if park. Feels like release button is stuck. I have to squeeze really really hard to get it to release. Off and on no rhyme or reason. Any ideas?

Is the shifter knob loose on the shaft?

Try moving it up a little at a time till it works properly then tighten.
