This week I finally had a Detroit True Track installed in the rear end. Found rear axle bearings were going so those were replaced as well. Also Cragar 16x7 soft 8s ( black- love the new stance with that back spacing) all around with existing 245/70/r16 tires, and bolted on Rocky Road steel roof rails and crossbars. Found the Front drive shaft CV boot torn and leaking(replaced), rear unjoints replaced to combat driveline vibration and an awful clunking when in reverse( gone now!), and finally all new front swaybar bushings and end links. After all that, I still have front end noises and vibration which I believe is wheel bearings and/or CV intermediate shaft. Having it looked at on Monday. Almost everything else in the front end replaced when lifted 15k ago ( Bilstein struts, JBA UCAs, new Moog LBJs) so I'm pretty sure it's CV or wheel bearings. Once that is sorted out and my wallet recovers, I'll be looking for a front bumper and winch. |

It never ends............................ I bought mine new September 2004, and just was going to upgrade a couple of things. Had upgraded every vehicle I ever had and the KJ was going to be different, NO MAJOR CHANGES! that didn't work so well and still changing things
