| Post subject: | Mopar Seat Covers |
My driver's side seat cover is developing a wear hole ( it's a '05 with 132,000 miles so I guess it's time). Anyone know of a good source for original Mopar seat covers for the Liberty? Most all I can find are aftermarket, and that is not what I want. Thanks! |

I went the cheapest route but had it done by an upohlstery shop. Take both front seats out, disassemble both butt cushions. Put your passenger one on the drivers side, less or little wear especially on the visible left side, and probably not crushed down either. Then take the other cushion (formerly the driver cushion) to the upohlstry shop. They can sew in a panel real close to factory, have them reinforce the stretch material also, and add a little foam. Then put it back on your passenger seat. This way, you are driving your jeep while the other cushion is at the shop, and you have done all the labor to remove an install. Mine cost me $75, no down time and looks fine. |
