Maybe he is using the UNIVERSAL ATF instead of ATF+4.
Just a thought.

use ATF+4. 1st trans at 50,000 or, so warranty, Dealer said inside trashed. 2nd 120,000 gear ratio codes . 3rd still in. Changed tq converters with transmissions, 1 tq converter inside stripped. All highway miles.

cooler clogged up? When replacing a transmission, if the cooler is not replaced the next one is sure to fail from debris getting caught inside. The 45RFE is less prone to this due to its cooler loop filtration, but it is not completely infallible. Fluid burned at all?

Flushed all lines out several times filled cooler up and flushed also. Fluid not burned . When this one goes so does the Liberty. I am done.

The 45rfe used in the early liberty's and the 545rfe used in the 05-06 crd are the same trans. Its just the programming of the tcu that gets you 5th gear by locking the 2C clutches and the OD clutches. They both use the same filters on the trans

I understand about being done. The one thing I do advice if your replacing the transmission again is to go ahead and install the transgo HD2 kit. I did it to the new trans I just put in. I can say there is a world of difference with how this trans shifts and drives. all the sloppiness is gone. Also the sonix line pressure booster helps
