I hear the truck groaning in the front after i hit bumps or use my brakes. It only has 56,000 miles on it and its a 2004. im thinking its either the struts or the shocks, or the coils or something else that i dont know about. If the problem is serious enough am i better off just lifting the truck instead of just fixing it and hope the rear doesnt have a problem in the near future? Possible lift budget is between $1500 and $2000 (Parts Only). Im also going to have to find a shop that can lift it too.

Here is a video i took, hope it helps

Cannot really hear anything on the video clip but the 1st thing I'd check on groaning is the various front suspension bushings which may need lube or replacement.

Rust + bushings likely is the groaning. From what I've read the bushings are really hard to install and given the rust you will likely be better of with new stuff. Whether or not that goes with a lift is up to you and your budget.

now my 4wd is dead, its probably just the cv joint but these problems are starting to add up. upgrading the suspension might not be a bad deal after all

If you are talking about the sway bar bushings they aren't hard at all to replace.

Does it only happen during cold weather? If so it is sway bar bushings. Lube them up and maybe install grease zerks. I know a few people have installed those and it fixed it.
