Post subject:  KJ Front Differential Cover Question

Does anyone remember if forum username (INC) installed an aftermarket front diff cover? I thought I remember him installing one????? If I remember right, the D30a uses the same cover as the D30. With that being said, does the OE D30a cover utilize the breather tube? I was looking for an aftermarket pan under the assumption it would hold more gear lube, otherwise, it's not a big deal.... I was just curious how INC did it.

Can't install a aftermarket one
For one it would interfere with the mounting bracket
two you wouldn't have any breather
On to finding something else you can replace

Yeah, the breather tube dilemma would certainly be an issue. I remember INC installing one, I just don't remember all the details. And if I remember correctly, he installed front and rear covers made by Rockcrusher.
