Hi guys, My KK started doing this up-and-down movement about 1-2 times per second while driving on the highway. It feels like the rear of the jeep is on bouncing air balls, like those low-riders. It is intermittent and i only notice it on Highway at arounf 90-100 KMH. Any suggestions, ideas? I am a bit mecanically challenged but i'm looking to learn with this jeep. Thanks |

Bad Shocks? Worn out shocks can cause a lot of bounce. I've noticed some rhythmic bounce at medium speeds on certain highways. The wheel base on the Liberty's is short and sometimes matches the bumps on the edges of old concrete roads so you get a synchronized rhythm going with your suspension. Caltrans has been shaving a lot of these old freeways smooth again so the problem bounce goes away. |
