Does anyone know what load the wiring loom that comes with the rene' light bar is rated to? I have the 4 bulb bar fitted but am taking it off to fit an external roll cage. I will be re-fitting some off road lights to the roll cage afterwards and ideally want to leave the loom in place so I can just 'plug' in some new lights. Any ideas? Or will more powerful bulbs blow thw wiring as it is now

Cheers

I think it would cost more to ship from the UK than it would be to buy it here in the states.

Robby: IIRC, someone here wanted to replace the 50W bulbs with 100W bulbs and no one was really sure if the wiring or housing would support 100W over 50W. Maybe if that person sees this they will chime in.
Please document and take plenty of pictures during this roll cage endevor. I have yet to see one with a roll cage, and would like to know what's involved and any hang-ups you had along the way.

Thanks for the answers so far. As far as the roll cage I will let you know how it goes. Am using this company to do it http://www.northoffroad.co.uk

They are going to design custom rock rails with mounting points for the cage. The rails will be heavy duty with reinforced sections onto the cross-members!. The cage itself will run up behind the front wheel well to the windscreen and up the sides to the roof with a couple od crossmembers. Bars will then run back along the roof with crossmembers and will attach to the mounting points of the factory roof bars. The design will include a beefy light bar arrangement where the rene' light bar currently is!

As far as the wiring goes...yeah thats what I need to know...will I be able to safely run 4 100W lamps
