Greetings,
I may be moving overseas for a job in the coming months and will end up getting rid of my Jeep. I have an '04 KJ V6 base model that just turned over 100k mi and is in pretty good shape. I also have a set of full mopar off-road accessories except for the gas-tank skid which is a Kilby unit. (that includes front, trans and t-case skids, mopar rock rails and front and rear tow hooks. I also have a set of Blackrock wheels with stock size tires. Lastly, I just replaced the entire suspension with Moog/Monroe components and added coil spring spacers, front shims and a clevis lift. I'm curious which option will net me more money, or which is the more practical option.
1) sell the Jeep as-is
2) part it out (or hopefully sell in one big lot to somebody) and return to the stock base model trim
I've not done anything that can't be reversed to the Jeep and I've kept all of the stock parts (wheels and whatnot). So for a day's investment in the garage to remove everything and about $100 to have my local tire shop swap wheels I could be back to stock and have all of the parts to sell. I'd keep the new suspension installed but get rid of the spacers and clevis. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there anyone in/near PA looking for a Jeep or a nearly full Mopar off-road package
