Hey everyone. I'm lookin' to install a custom light bar that will bolt to the front frame rails and will come out of the bumper. I have plenty of time to get it done because i recently broke my driving foot and my parents will not let me drive my liberty with my left foot so I wondering how to take the front bumper off. I know it is held in by some rivets and maybe something else. I need to know if I need a special tool to remove the rivets. And how easy is it to get the bumper back on and aligned right. Any instructions/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks.

I just had the new Mopar fog lamps installed on the front of mine and when you take off the front bumper it breaks all those rivets and you need to buy new ones to reinstall the bumper. They are one-use only because they are supposedly designed to break off during an accident is what the dealer told me. Hope this helps...and heal soon.

Here is something I rigged up, works purty good. I wish I had more metal and a welder and it would be much better, but its was the best I could do with what I have.

Read to the end to get all of it.

Some ppl think they dont work good off-road, but they seem to be doing fine for me.

Question What type Lite bar are you installing
Some of us have removed the front tow hooks and put fog lites on, than put the tow hooks back on. cant you do the sane with a lite bar 2 bolt instead of one.
