Post subject:  Need some advice

Yesterday after about 35 miles into my trip I started hearing a loud, sharp and shrill squeaking coming from my front end, possible passenger side. No harder than usual hits to the pavement like pot holes or anything. Squeaking was keeping time with the wheel speed. Applied brakes, squeaking only slowed with wheel speed. Handling seemed normal. No shakes or vibrations felt while driving. So I parked it for a few and went back to it. Same thing, squeaking very loud and sharp. I put it into 4wd and as soon as it engaged, the sound stopped completely and vehicle drove fine. Stayed in 4wd for about a mile or so and went back to 2wd. Squeak did not come back in 2wd. Put an additional 50 or so miles on it throughout the day and evening, stops in between and no sound. While under the thing today doing an oil change, I checked the CV boots and rubber is still firm and intact on both sides and nothing looks out of place. Also less than 6 mo ago, I replaced the Wheel bearings/hubs as one went bad, sounded nothing like this. I would appreciate any information or advice I can get. I drive 100mi a day round trip for work and, despite my hatred for pants, I don't wanna get caught with them down! What do you all suggest?
I thank you all in advance for your thoughts and time.
