When I installed my EVIC I tapped into a hot wire under the dash (a green wire) I jave since tapped into the same wire for 2 other low current electronics (maybe that wasn't so smart). Well to make a long story short i blew a fuse. No biggy right? As soon as that happened the "Air Bag" warning light came on. Doooooh! Fortunatly I fixed it with a fuse replacement. The owners manual and Chilten's neglects to mention the fuse associated with the SRS system. the Stealership told me I am lucky because I might have had an airbag deploy on me. I just ordered one of those Painless wiring fuse blocks to wire my accesories. We'll see how it goes.

By the way, does anyone know the correct optima size for an '04. Is it the 35 of the 34? thanks.

I think it would be the 35. The 04 dakota uses the same one. See if there is a Batteries plus in your area, they have a way to find out. Hope this helps.
