I'm looking at switching to GG AT2 and wanted to see if anyone has had any issues with the 2-ply sidewalls? |

I like them. Had them on four a year now and can't complain, no problems with the sidewalls that I have had. |

I had some on my last vehicle, which didn't get wheeled so can't comment on the sidewalls (guess they held up for street use). They wore out quick though, done in 25k with regular rotations and alignment. |

I've just replaced them after 5 years and about 55000 miles. they still had about 2000 miles on them (guess) before they NEEDED to be replaced, but the rubber had become hard and the grip was going. I was very happy with them. I've replaced them with the new Grabber AT as the AT2 no longer meets the rules for road noise over here |

I ran these in 235/70/16 for about 50k miles. Rotated every 10k. They were awesome when new, but after about 40k started getting really noisy. There was plenty of tread left, but they were cupped pretty badly and traction wasn't that great. I replaced them with the same size Firestone Destination LE2. The new tires don't look nearly as good, but for highway driving they handle significantly better. I used to be able to light up the rears on damp roads, but now I can't. Traction on my gravel driveway is about the same, and winter traction is TBD. |
