running 245 tires, stock wheels (2007 KJ) and stock rims... however i don't really like how tucked under the fenders the wheels are. is it safe to use wheel spacers on stock suspension? all i do is drive around town and highway driving, no 4x4. pics and spacer sizes can be helpful for future purchases :)

thanks!

I wouldn't run spacers but If I did I wouldn't go with any other brand than Spidertrax.

Also since they would be the only thing holding your tires on you need to use loctite and check each tire every few thousand miles to make sure the spacer didn't come loose.

Unlifted its going to rub with spacers. Moving the arc of travel out 1.25 inches changes everything

First it depends on how much your suspension has already sagged
( measure from middle of the wheel to bottom of flare in front)

Sagged KJ -vs- newer KK
big difference

True, Tom.
The KK had less than 40K at the time of the spacers.
Maybe 45K at the time of the picture.

so even a .5" spacer will cause rubbing issues in my scenario?

.5 spacers are even more dangerous than the 1.5" adapters (adapters have the lug nuts on them)

You'll be just fine with spacers as long as you install and maintain them properly! Spacers get a bad rap because people don't do this. Just about every single lifted JK Wrangler runs them without issue. It's necessary in order to install wider tires to prevent contact with the control arms. Spidertrax are very popular, yes, but any reputable brand will do. Take a look at Rugged Ridge or Extreme Terrain and you might be able to save a few dollars. However, you will need to address the spring sagging issue regardless if you install the spacers, but especially if you do! Rather than worry about fashion, at this point, I would worry about function. Your suspension plays a huge role in your safety as well as ride comfort! I hope this helps!
