So I had a few random bulbs out and went ahead and replaced them today. Problem is now none of the four bulbs in the evic work and neither of the bulbs in the hvac controls. Only one in each was out and now I can't get any to work. I plan on checking fuses tomorrow when it is light out (I'm tired and it is dark or else I'd do it now) but thought I'd check with you guys to see if there was something stupid I was doing wrong. I checked my connections several times and made sure everything was reconnected correctly. The evic controls work and the main display illuminates, just not the bulbs illuminating the homelink, c/t, step, and reset buttons. |

FYI for anyone who finds this thread with the same problem. The bulbs for the evic and hvac are neowedge t3 and t4 and have a twist base. The wires on the base are what have to make contact in order fro the bulb to get power. On my replacement bulbs the wires were not protruding far enough out of the base to make contact. Once I pulled the wires out a little farther everything worked just fine. LOL, I knew it was something simple and I was being stupid. |
