Love this KJ rack with LED lightbar

Been looking for ideas for a new rack for mine. I have a Rock Lizard basket rack now, I like it a lot BUT everytime I go in and out of the garage it hits the door :banghead:

So its either cut it up or sell it and find something else, or lower the KJ which ain't happening .
BUT I'VE FOUND A REPLACEMENT NOW!!

I like the look of that full length rack. Now I'm torn.......

Are the only light tabs at the front?

That is the rack I've been trying to build for a while, but I got a new toy, so my money is going to that.... unless its a good price, lol.

That is an excellent design, and I particularly like the mounting. I've fancied a full length rack, but the ones we get here are for expeditions and are very expensive, (and almost entirely for Land Rovers)

Question, why did you leave the tube/pipe ends open. Why not cap them for a cleaner look/less crap getting inside the tube?

Very simple reason, LED lights go in those holes amber front, red for the rear

A couple questions:
- What diameter are the crossbars? I'd like to be able to use yakima accessories with a rack similar to the y. crossbars I have now.

- Do the front feet rest on anything solid? It seems a heavy load might press them info the door-frame if not.

Thoughts?

Its a great looking rack. Hard to pull off a full length one because of the slope at the front of the roof. How is the wind noise with that design though?
