Why does the 2012 Liberty KK have an additional brake (Red) light on both sides of the tail lights ? It's at the bottom of each. When the light is taken off there is a covered hole in the back, however inside a reflector is present.

The euro versions of the kk have a light in there

Yep it's called the rear fog light in Europe I believe. I drilled a hole and put a stop/tail light in there. For us in the states it fulfills the DOT requirement for red reflectors

Now I have a new idea im putting an led pod in there and tapping it into the brake light wires and also gonna make it strobe
