Are there known issues of excessive gaps between the front of the upper dash panel and the windshield. The dashboard was recently removed and replaced by the dealer. I can now stick my hand in the gap and beyond the rubber seal. I compared it to a friends 08 and mine is about 1/2 inch wider. The dealer contends that the gaps vary and there Iis a design flaw. However, I have compared mine to several others and none are as bad as mine. also, the dash on the driver's side seems loose. It can be moved if pushed.

They did a terrible job reinstalling your dash and won't admit it. I would rather fix it myself than bring it back to those guys. Here is a thread with several links to how-to's for disassembling and reinstalling an '08 dashboard.
