I'm about to have a Crane Diff Cover installed, but before I do, I need to know what socket to use for these bolt heads. Anyone know? Sorry for the poor pic quality, but the bolt is star shaped.

From what I see on line they are 12-point and should fit an appropriate size standard 12-point socket.

First diff fluid change I did I swapped them out for regular style headed bolts, grade 8 of course but easier to remove every time

Thanks. I'm not familiar with these types of sockets, but you're clearly right. I will go ahead and use them this time around. If I decide that I don't like them, then I'll replace them as Tom mentioned.
