I'm losing my mind. Our 2005 Liberty has been locking itself. At first it was kind of random and intermittent and the odometer was flashing the 'door' message. I slammed the driver door and it went away, but just that once. the it came back and was sporadic in the locking and 'door' message, almost like something was loose somewhere.
Then one day I left the keys in the ignition to run into s store (car was off) and got locked out.
Today the locking happens immediately upon starting the car. If you unlock it, it locks itself again right away. I pulled the fuse for the BCM/locks (#6) and it stopped doing that, thought the 'door' message is still there.
Any ideas?

Since you say the odometer is displaying "door" I assume you do not have the overhead EVIC otherwise I'd suggest playing with the auto lock settings there. Absent that I'd guess a lock button is sticking (likely the driver's as that gets the most use) and/or whatever sensor tells the system the door is shut is defective. Exactly how to diagnose those possible issues I cannot help but you can get a FSM with wiring diagrams from http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/ which might be helpful.
