Post subject:  Brake Dust

Since I put my MOAB wheels on several weeks ago, I now notice that I get a LOT of brake dust on the front wheels. I'm not toally surprised because I've seen this happen with different wheels before, but I was surprised by the amount. So, two questions:

- You guys running Moabs or Rubicon wheels, did you experience this as well?
- Is anyone running brake pads that don't put out so much dust? I assume they're not as soft?

Thanks

I don't get any more brake dust on my Moabs than I did on my stock alloys. AFter having the moabs on for a couple months, I have switched to ceramic pads now, and they seem to take longer to get really dusty. Hope that helps.

Dust is from ur pads. OEM on my 02 were soft ... replaced 2x on fronts in low mileage with little or no dust then put another brand on but now lots of dust regardless of MOABs, steelies or Mohave wheels. What kinda wheels do you have... darker finish MOhaves ie Renegade?

MAKE SURE U WASH UR WHEELS REGULARLY ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER SALT OR THEY MAY STAIN/CORRODE
