These are RRO upper plates I ordered a while back on a bet.....I won the bet, but finally got them in and look, suprised they dont fit the shock mount. (Sarcasm)

First the holes dont even line up, the holes arnt the right size and what heck is up with the holes? Those aint circles!!!

See and this is why you dont buy from ROCKY ROAD OUTFITTERS. if they cant get top plates right, how in the world can they get upper arms or anything else to fit.

Tomorrow will be the test for the extended bumpstops, which also have ovals as bolt holes!!!

Yep, been like that for years yet people still buy from them
You should of said something, I have had a set of them laying around for 10 years, they came with my used ARB back in 2005.
Its what the guy was running when he had so many UCA/ shock failures

When I bought a strut mounting kit from NAPA, my JBA top plates did not fit these. They fit great on OEM strut mounts though, looks like you have OEM strut mounts in the image though. The NAPA strut mount fit great into the Jeep though... :?

Rocky Road extended bump stops fit great on my JBA A-Arms. Only issue is longer bolts are needed.

So after a quick call to RRO.....they said they use a plasma cutter to cut out the brackets, about the holes being oval and off, they told me their shop dosent clean up the holes and thats up to the customer to do.

So the customer needs to drill out the holes and fit them up. Dosent seem like thats a great business plan to me.

Im just glad it wasnt my money that they took and that i won $50 by dealing with this bull ship. Time to grab a beer and throw these RRO parts in the scrap pile

So they take the time to powder coat the brackets and ship them out so the customer can then drill out the holes and.........
Oh never mind its ridiculous crap

Its a real bad powdercoating job. Also the holes are now 9/16" and they still dont fit........imagine that lol

Thanks for the heads up - I didn't know about the rep for this company.

I bought my strut plates from JBA - they fit like a glove on the Moog (I think?) replacements on both sides with a light tap or two. The finish appeared to be of much higher quality also.
