Okay so I have a 2011 Jeep Liberty kk. I've put a 2" spacer lift on it and 245/75/16 tires on it. I've been having problems ever since I lifted it with it overheating when it's put on a load going up hill in either 2wd 4hi or 4lo doesn't matter anytime going up hill. So far I have had the radiator flushed, new rad cap, and just put on today: new thermostat, electric fan, clutch fan upgrade, upgraded the power steering cooler and moved it up the the grille. And yes I'm using the correct coolant. The gold whatever name brand it is I forget. And I burped the system by filling the coolant squeezing the hoses get the air out the unscrewing the Allen bolt on the top rad hose pouring coolant in there and then started it let it get up to temp and opened the Allen bolt and let out all the air till it was nothing but fluid. Then refilled the radiator. Went to windrock and drove up p1 a paved road that is steep and has switchback turns by the time I hit the top gauge read between 1/2-3/4. So I stopped and used infrared temp reader on the water pump it read 223 degrees. Please help I'm at my wits end.

the fan relay may not be engaging or fan is failing. if all you said is done properly, and the hoat coolant, no issues should be present. when does she overheat?

The electric fan does engage. I can watch it once it gets to the temp it is supposed to turn on it will kick on I can see and hear it when it does. It only does it when I'm crawling at low speeds up hill or any speed and gear 1 2 or drive going up steep grade hill for any period of time. But I can leave it sit with a/c blaring just idling and it won't budge above 195 degrees and I can leave it sit all day. But once motor is put under any load it starts climbing. I was told could be running the stock gears on 245 tires? True or false? Could it be water pump?

I'll put it this way p1 which is pavement one at windrock OHV park is roughly 3/4 mile and it's a steep grade and switchback turns it over heats before I reach the top running about 220+ degrees when I reach the top. And will keep climbing if I don't stop.

The only time it over heats is when it's put under the strain of a long hill at 15 miles an hour or less. Any long hill climb while wheeling will shoot the temp straight up.

I wonder if a cat is failing or there is some other exhaust restriction. Tranny overheating maybe?

A long slow climb up a steep hill will cause overheating.
You need either:
1. A bigger, better electric cooling fan
2. A bigger, better transmission cooler
3. Both 1 and 2

Both have been done. Because isn't the power steering cooler and trans cooler the same. I seen the trans lines running down to what I believe is the steering gear box the lines run out and into the bigger cooler I just installed and we did a new clutch fan which wasn't there before (only comes on tow package) and new electric fan. So we practically upgraded everything to make it as if it came with the tow package but it did not.

Yeah, give the wetter pump some loving. Might aswell take out the thermostat and check if it's seal isn't compromised and if it opens at it's designated temp.

Driven up that same road a few times at Windrock over the past few years, no issues. Make the T stat is in the right way, seems to be confusing to put in, seen that on here a few times.

I'll check it but I'm 99% sure I put tstat in spring side in. But I'll check. And we're gonna try water pump and put it on incline let it get hot and try to burp the system. And yeah I live 20 minutes from windrock and go there a lot. I actually just got home 5 minutes ago from there we went and road caryville flats.

Also having issues when it gets hot and sometimes just randomly it doesn't wanna start when you hit the key. Motor turns over but won't fire. after about the third try and giving it throttle it fires and rev it up couple times and it will run fine. Shut it off and fires right back up. I don't know if this could be temp issue also or just maybe cps going out or heard about people having PCM flashed.
